Commercial Bay,
​AUCKLAND CITY

Project Goal - Commercial Bay is a 39 level tower encompassing commercial space, retail, public space, hospitality, and public transport. 

“Auckland CBD's highly ambitious and challenging Commercial Bay development is now well advanced.
The $1 billion undertaking is 10 projects in one.
It includes doing up two existing buildings, building five new retail precincts, some underground rail tunnels and one monster office tower”

Project Parameters - Commercial Bay is a striking 39 level tower on the former site of the Downtown mall at the foot of Queen Street. The tower's foundations will be dug concurrently with the beginning of the tunnels for Auckland City Rail Link, which will link Britomart and the city centre with the existing western line near Mt Eden.

Project Goal - A six building commercial, retail, and tourism scheme.

Project Parameters - The development will include a 120 room hotel, a tourism entertaining venue, a 380 car park building, office, retail, and residential activities.

University of Auckland, School of Business Building
​GRAFTON, AUCKLAND

Project Goal - New building for the Auckland University School of Business Management
 
Client - Fletcher Construction 
Sub Contractors - Dominion Constructors, Graysons Steel Fabricators, and Marin Construction
 
Location - Central City, Auckland 

Project Parameters - This project was the University’s largest project. It provided 20,000m2 floor space in eight floors together with a five level basement car park. 

Services Provided Involvement

New Zealand International Convention Centre and
Hobson Street Hotel, Auckland CBD

Project Goal ​– The New Zealand International Convention Centre will be 32,000 sqm of convention centre and a 5 star, 300 room  luxury Hobson Street Hotel.
 
Project Parameters – NZICC and the Hobson Street Hotel will be constructed together. It will be a world class facility complete with a retail laneway linking Nelson and Hobson Streets and 1327 car parks. The NZICC will be capable of hosting conventions of around 3000 to 4000 people depending on the events.

Fonterra Building,
​AUCKLAND CITY

Project Goal – The Fonterra Building is a seven story, 16,000m2 building for the Fonterra Head Office, including an additional basement level carpark.

Project Parameters – Located opposite Victoria Park the building design responds to Fonterra's environmentally conscious and sustainable approach to business, with environmental initiatives such as:

  • Greywater harvesting,

  • A highly engineered building façade to optimise natural light and occupant comfort and minimise energy use,

  • External 'green walls' spanning the full height of the building, and

  • Energy efficient lighting and air conditioning

Auckland City Mission,
AUCKLAND CBD

Project Goal - The Auckland City Mission building with Built Environs. The proposal is to undertake the redevelopment and extension of the Mission HomeGround. 

Project Parameters - The Auckland City Mission is going to undertake a redevelopment that will include 80 secure and  affordable housing apartments for those with limited incomes. The redevelopment will also provide an extension of existing social services, including health care, dentistry, and a new alcohol and drug detoxification services, providing 30 beds.
